Braves vs. Pirates
After a 90 minute rain delay the Braves took on the Pirates and WON! We arrived at the game before 6 0'clock and left after midnight! The kids had a hard time sitting through the game after waiting so long for the game to start. Thank goodness the kids received a Pirate action figure that they played with all night. Also, ice cream, hot dogs, and popcorn seemed to help!
Ryan's first boat ride!
Ryan has been asking for some time to go on a boat ride. We finally were able to grant his wish! We went on an hour tour on a boat. Caroline and Ryan had a good time and saw many things on our tour. Did you know Pittsburgh has over 500 bridges and Caroline was able to see the beginning of the Ohio river!
National Aviary Museum
On Saturday we headed to the National Aviary Museum! We had a really good time! We were able to watch the penguin feeding and the wetland feeding. Caroline fed a sardine to Esther the bird and Ryan fed a worm to a bird. He lifted his hand in the air with the warm pinched between his fingers and a bird swooped down and got the worm. It was very exciting!
Duquesne Incline
We rode the Duquesne Incline Friday night after dinner. It is a trolley that takes you to the top of Mt. Washington to see the City below. Ryan loved this! He enjoyed the ride more than the view!
Pittsburgh city lights!
Market Square Pittsburgh
Here we are on our first night in Pittsburgh. We stopped by the hotel and dropped off our things then headed to market square. We found several dinosaurs and a cool fountain before heading to dinner at Primanti Brothers.

Our Multicultural Day Program!
We had our multicultural day program at school this week! Caroline wanted to wear a Japanese dress to school, because she IS Japanese! Here are a few videos from the program!
Learning to be patient!
Caroline, Ryan, and Steve planted sunflower seeds and watermelon seeds last weekend. They are learning to be patient and wait for their seeds to grow. The sunflower seeds have already started to sprout. We will take pictures throughout this process and watch and see if the seeds grow. Stay tuned!
