Space Exploration in First Grade

Caroline in her space suit for space exploration day in first grade! The class visited the moon, space station, the sun, and made several other stops on their journey. She learned about the sun and tried astronaut ice cream! She was very excited to go to school on Friday! The first graders were all smiles yesterday!

Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny made it to Grammy's house and brought Caroline and Ryan many goodies! They had a good time with their cousins hiding and finding eggs, even though it was high competition to find the most eggs and everyone was in tears during the egg hunt.

We also had the opportunity to visit with cousins, Aunts, and Uncles that we have not seen in a few years! It was good to sit around the table and talk about the railroad tracks at Grandaddy's, kites that Aunt Dorris brought to fly at the church, and Grandaddy firing up the grill on Easter. Easter is my favorite holiday! I have many precious memories of sunrise service with my Dad and my uncle Alvin. I am always overwhelmed with emotions that Jesus died for me!

Cousins

During spring break we went to Grammy's house for several days to spend time with her, Aunts, Uncles, and our cousins. The kids had a great time together. They stayed outside the entire weekend and enjoyed Grammy's big back yard! We also went to Calvary's Good Friday Service! The children were so cute all dressed up we had to take some pictures! I cannot believe how much they are growing!
